What is Recognition of Prior Learning?

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is an assessment process that involves making a judgment on the skills and knowledge an individual has as a result of past study and/or experience. The aim of RPL is to recognise your existing competencies without having to go through the complete processes of training and assessment.

How is RPL assessed?

To receive recognition towards a component of your course, you should be able to demonstrate that you have achieved learning outcomes equivalent to the learning outcomes of that component. Learning outcomes may include skills or knowledge, or the application of skills or knowledge.

How does the RPL process work?

We conduct a free skills assessment to review your goals and help you to choose the right path and map it with the relevant qualification(s) that matches your skills and explain what you need to do to guided by the Expert.
